Richard Walborn

Rich Walborn started working at Moog Music in the early 1970s and worked there for 13 years, starting as a basic Minimoog builder and eventually becoming Moog's Chief Engineer. Among his projects were the MemoryMoog, Prodigy, Rogue, Liberation, and the SL-8.
He toured as Keith Emerson's synthesizer technician on the 1973-74 Brain Salad Surgery world tour. Today, he is Chief Technical Officer for Blue Sky and Audio Design Labs. To date, Rich has designed more THX-Certified speakers/subwoofers than any other engineer.
